At Weaver, Bennett, and Bland, we are proud to support the Matthews, South Charlotte, and Western Union County communities. For more than three decades we’ve been committed to providing more to our communities than legal services.
Our firm has a core value to connect with our community, and we do that by giving back whenever we can.
Giving Back to Our Local Communities
During 2020 we honored three organizations of front-line heroes – Matthews EMS, Matthews Fire Department, and the Matthews Police Department – in a unique fashion. In partnership with the Rotary Club of Waxhaw-Weddington, the names of the units have been placed on 4.75” diameter medallions attached to one of 100 large American flags set out along the railroad tracks in downtown Waxhaw over the Memorial Day, July 4th and Veterans Day Holidays as well as the 9.11 Remembrance Day.
Eran Weaver, a managing partner of the firm says “We have been blessed in this town to have first-line heroes of such quality; they are well-trained and proficient. Honoring such fine units was an easy decision for the partners of Weaver, Bennett & Bland.”

Recently the Committee recommended that the Rotary Club of Waxhaw-Weddington provide a grant to Common Heart in Union County to help purchase a refrigerated truck for their mobile food pantries feeding the needy of Union County. At the behest of Immediate Past-President Paula Smith, all five Union County Rotary Clubs and the Matthews Rotary Club made grants to Common Heart and will be recognized with their names and the Rotary Logo on the new truck.
