Megan is an Associate Attorney at Weaver, Bennett & Bland and focuses her practice on estate planning, elder law, and corporate law. Megan was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but was raised in North Carolina. Her interest in the law began while studying history and political science at Appalachian State University. While attending law school at Wake Forest University, Megan was the recipient of The Law Dean’s Scholarship, participated in The Elder Law Clinic and Pro Bono Wills Clinic, won the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Planning and Drafting of Wills and Trusts and Best Team Draft in the 2016 Wake Forest Transactional Law Competition, was a staff member of The Wake Forest Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law, and was an intern for the Pitt County District Attorney’s Office. Megan has now returned to Charlotte after many years away at school and enjoys being back in her adopted hometown.
